that will produce mainly transportation fuels and petrochemicals so vital to the nation’s growth.

Refinery project is certain to create steady cash flows, create jobs and contribute to the Egyptian economy for decades to come.
- The refinery is being built in the Alamein Industrial Zone and will serve as one of Egypt’s biggest and most advanced projects under the country’s Egypt Vision 2030 initiative.
- Alamein Refinery & Petrochemical Company, will be the first refinery built on the Northern Coast. This adds significant economic value to the refinery because it will be centrally located to the high demand areas throughout Europe and the Middle East. As a result, the location is extremely attractive to the off-take market.
- ARPC is strategically located near the El Hamra Port (very important logistical location). El Alamein is approximately 15km from the port.
Project Objective:
ARPC’s objective is to build and operate a state-of-the-art refinery that serves as the focal point for Egypt Vision 2030’s Energy Initiative and sets the standards for future growth in Egypt’s oil and gas industry.
Capacity:
Phase I: 100,000 BPSD
Phase II: 200,000 BPSD
Phase III: 300,000 BPSD (completion which includes Petrochemicals)
Completion Date: 2022
